Remodelling Your Home

We all love to spend time relaxing in bathrooms but very few of us seem to want to spend money on them apart from replacing toilet seats or bathroom taps. Bathrooms do not have to expensive when it comes to redesigning them. One of the major expenses of refitting bathrooms are the bathroom suites but with bathroom suites available from as little as £200 even they don’t have to be expensive and replacing basin mixer taps couldn’t be easier.

Our advice when it comes to bathrooms is always to fit showers as these are guaranteed to save you money in the short and long term as they will use a lot less water and heating. If you do not have room for a shower cubicle then fit your shower above the bath and then use shower enclosures to keep the water inside the bath unless of course you are using wet rooms.

Heating is always a problem in bathrooms I remember back to when we use to have to get the oil tanks filled once a month to make sure we would have sufficient heat now thanks to gas central heating it is easy to have either radiators or towel rails fitted into your bathroom to keep you warm. Stelrad radiators design and build many different types of radiators using various materials to produce aluminium radiators and electric radiators.

Wood flooring is now one of the most popular floors to have in the UK. Wooden floors have long been around in the UK in the form of parquet but were never quite as popular as carpets but it seems things are changing. Thanks to the way in which wooden floors can be easily cleaned and re-coated via floor sanding they are now number one when it comes to us Brits floors.

Whether you are  sanding and sealing your own wooden floors or getting an expert in to do it for you there are a number of things to consider. First make sure that all possible windows are opened and all exits into the rest of the home are sealed. This applies in just the same way whether you are sanding sports floors, dining rooms or even sports hall floors. If you are sanding sports floors you will need a specialists to carry out all the  line marking and court marking before varnishing.
